having fun making art.....................

have been very busy creating art for my day job as an art teacher to the middle school students of my town....have also been busy creating new jewelry designs for my etsy site...I love taking pictures of artsy things I see everyday....I have been working on a blog with another artist named Laura McHugh who lives on the West coast.....and I have been busy creating art work for our weekly challenges(www.lauramchughsquared.blogspot.com) I don't think I have ever been so busy with my art...I am so loving playing, experimenting, and creating new pieces.....its amazing how art can calm you and relax you...you should give it a try....here is a few artsy photos I wanted to share with you.......

I taught my students how to carve stamps......and they were awesome....

we are taking these stamps and I am sewing them onto blank note cards and then we are selling them to raise $$$ for the animal shelter in town......have hundreds of cards to sew and then label.... will be sewing all weekend....
