Vintage2Glam is my idea of reusing vintage goodies, and turning them into something Glam. I love taking vintage finds, and make them modern with wonderful colors and a vintage twist..... love to incorporate them into my own vintage inspired art an accessories. Pleased to say that my jewelry was worn my Ellen Burstyn in the movie "GRETA" starring Ellen and Hillary Duff filmed in historical town of Ocean Grove N.J.

A day at the races..............

It has been quite a while since we have been to the race track at Monmouth Park....My family use to have race horses and we use to live at the track.....

So it was a nice idea Myles my son had to take a trip to the races today....it couldn't have been a more perfect day.....
Well it was nice to see that it  hasn't changed at all.....

they had a giant sand castle to greet you as you arrived..........

the gardens are as lovely as I remembered.....

Myles and Brit.....

thank god Brit has nice long arms to snap our picture.....ha ha ha

I love looking at the banners flying with all the jockey's silks on them....I remember when we had our horses you got to design the jockeys jacket or silks ....and man would I LOVE to design them today...back when we had horses there wasn't as  many wonderful colors to chose as they have today...
I love all the colorful silks and this one stood out...and the name got me too!

Miss Audreyanna......after a sweet friend of mine named Audrey.....so you know I had to bet on #8...and wouldn't you know she WON!!!! and so did I......
I have a thing for grey horses...and there sure was a lot of them today.......
Myles with his serious look......and looking handsome as always....

John and I
I had to buy this horseshoe......going to give it to my son Ryan...for luck in his new condo and life in Florida...(man I wish he was here with us today....)

when I go to the track I like to look for the most colorful silks, and the nice calm looking horse with the colorful blanket or socks...I don't study the forms I just go  by looks and the name...and today they had plenty of great names as well as colorful silks.....

I LOVE how this pony horse was decorated on the saddle with flowers.....something I am sure I would do if I was riding.....
when we saw #1 we had to bet on this one...Cinderella Time, cause Brit's  Mom runs Cinderella Bridals in town...... well #1 didn't win but #1A did so Brit won anyway........
I was so HAPPY Myles suggested a day out at the track...It really was a great day!
thanks Monmouth Race Track..... We will return.....
