Vintage2Glam is my idea of reusing vintage goodies, and turning them into something Glam. I love taking vintage finds, and make them modern with wonderful colors and a vintage twist..... love to incorporate them into my own vintage inspired art an accessories. Pleased to say that my jewelry was worn my Ellen Burstyn in the movie "GRETA" starring Ellen and Hillary Duff filmed in historical town of Ocean Grove N.J.

Abstract Selfie Class.

What a great class today at The Historical Society of Ocean Grove.  Several students didn't make it so the class was small but it was still a great class.  The weather was extremely hot so we had class in the museum today where it was nice and cool.

I showed the class my samples

and described what we were going to do....

and then they got busy.....

we were using our non dominate hand to create our abstract selfies....

and they gals really got the hang of it right from the start....

at first they said no way "I can't draw" with my left hand!"

but they really did a great job.....each  and everyone of them.....

we then painted the faces and created crazy back grounds....
Here is a few close ups.....

Thanks gals for making my job so easy...you were all great students.

a trip to the Philadelphia Museum of Art

needed a little art therapy today so off to Philly we went..

can't believe that we have never been here before......and was only about an hour and 15 minute drive....

we entered the museum and just as we were getting ready to pay a woman asked if we wanted a free ticket....and handed us a  $25.00 ticket to see "Discovering the Impressionists" I thanked her and wanted to offer her something for the kind gesture and she disappeared..... she was so kind and really made our day.....

I must say it is a gorgeous building.....

we were excited to see this show and it didn't disappoint.  It was crowded but the lines kept moving and we loved listening to the headsets that were provided....
I must say this is one HUGE museum with so many wonderful exhibits to keep everyone interested...

was a perfect little get-a-way.....

after the museum we wanted to hit this place that we had visited once before called
 Memphis Taproom
We first heard about it from Diners Drive-ins and Dives on the Food Channel a few years back.

OMG! this is the vegan Smoked Coconut Club with tomato mayo..you would never guess that they smoke coconut and it tastes like bacon.... and the beer battered kosher dill with horseradish buttermilk dipping sauce.....worth the drive just for them....

Well we were happy to get out for the day and what a great day it was....
I will be making sure we do this more often.
Hope you had a nice Sunday!
